Hi ! Thanks for being so patient! Here is the latest addition and updates of the Paula Blade Experience! THE AWAKENING, my second solo effort is done and available on MP3. I am so excited about this CD! It's a little Goth, yea, a little Rock, Pop, a little R&B, which is becoming my signature sound. Maybe a little Dance! I tend to be a little DARK, so I decided to put THE AWAKENING in the Goth Category even though it would fit well in other genres as well.. I performed at a New York Victim's Benefit a few weeks back at the COLLISEUM in the town where I live. I sold 20 BURNING BRIDGES CD's in an hour and the proceeds will go to the families and victims of September 11th. I try and perform when I can but I have remained focused on getting these two Cd's out. My next CD will be under the World Music Category entitiled MEDICINE PARK. I live near this area in which the Commanche and Kiowa nations reside and the land is rich in native American culture and history. My Cd utilizes these cultures and issues as the backdrop for my expression of their peoples concerns of our earth. This body of work also encompasses some of the World's problems we face today. MEDICINE PARK is due out in a couple of monthe. I am very pleased with this one as well.

When BURNING BRIDGES came out a couple of years ago I was trying to find my niche, my place in the universe. I found such a comfort in getting that project off the ground and was deligted that some of my metal fans hung with me and GOT what I was trying to do, and I actually gained some new fans from all over the world . It still amazing to me ,this internet crazy computer thing! THE AWAKENING hopefully wakes you up and allows you to think! I definitely grew as a musician with this one and I have recieved KUDOS from Dallas Smith, who produced The Allman Brothers, Canned Heat, 5 Man Electrical Band ect, ect, He said and I quote" ....There's some truly brilliant pieces on there"... So! Check it out and see for yourself!

I want to inroduce you to my closest friend, lead guitarist , co-writer , web master, Knight of all Trades, John Walker. John is the lead guitarist of Lochinvar and helps me out tremendously with my solo stuff at times. He wrote the music and performed all the instrumentation on DEATH BECOMES HER on BURNI NG BRIDGES. Bret Blade is the other guitarist, bass, drum programmer , anything else that I can't do guy! Bret played with LOCHINVAR as well from 92- 99. He has put in his fair share of extemely hard work on my projects and patiently takes all my crap! Thanks Bret, Lots of Love to you!

I can not begin to express my pride and joy when I introduce you to my gifted son PFC Christen Gabriel Smith. He is responcible for the fantastic artwork/graphics on THE AWAKENING and wrote the music and performed on RIGHT BESIDE YOU. This song goes to him and my daughter Rhiannon. Both are my gifts from GOD. Yes, Stevie Nicks is one of my major influences .
