Paula Faye Smith

July 7, 1959 - April 24, 2008

Paula Smith, founder, lead singer, and songwriter for the hard rock band Lochinvar, was killed in a car accident on April 24, 2008, in Marlow, Oklahoma. She was 48 years old. She is survived by her mother, Anna Faye Crawford, her son Christen Smith, and her daughter Rhiannon Smith

Paula was often described as “a force of nature”, and that is a good a description as I can come up with for those of you who didn’t know her. She was gifted with an extraordinary talent as a singer, a songwriter, and a poet. She was fortunate in her short time with us to touch a huge number of people, both personally and through her music.

Those of us who knew her will miss her very much.
